I consulted Mr. El-Nikety after a dislocation in my right shoulder due to a work accident. My shoulder was also frozen and unstable. After a consultation, we agreed to perform shoulder stabilization surgery, which was explained to me in detail along with its risks. The procedure was scheduled immediately, and I received excellent care throughout.

During the surgery, it turned out that my shoulder required a capsular release, which was successfully carried out. I had been informed of this possibility, so it was not a surprise.

I saw Dr El-Nikety after a year of wrist pains.

He was very thorough with his examinations and sent me straight for an x ray during my first visit.

He then told me exactly what he wanted to do to rule out certain diagnosis’s.

Once he made a “game plan” I followed his lead and after all options were exhausted, he signed me up for surgery.

I was very impressed with how tiny my scar was and just the level of care and kindness shown by him.

I have no been discharged and couldn’t be happier with my progress 6 weeks after surgery.

I saw Mr/Dr S El-Nikety in May of this year, (2019) about a frozen shoulder problem that I have had for about ten month’s now.
We agreed on a procedure called – Hydro dilatation and he wanted to see me six weeks after this was done.

I had a shoulder decompression in Feb, Mr El-Nikety kept me informed at all times, of the procedure and recovery. My shoulder problem was fully repaired and should the arthritis occur in my other shoulder, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to see Mr El-Nikety or refer in. Thank you.

I had a condition commonly known as Tennis Elbow which was pretty painful. I saw the consultant and he recognized this condition almost immediately. He gave me options and I chose to go with surgery. Less than 8 weeks later I was having the operation. The after care was explained fully and I was told exactly how long I would need to recuperate. Physiotherapy was organized and started within 2 weeks. After 3 months I could use my arm for almost everything apart from lifting very heavy objects. A follow up apt came through to see Mr El-Nikety and I was happy to be signed off. I am very pleased with the service provided and would absolutely recommend this consultant and also the Bath Clinic. I went in as an NHS patient and was not treated any different to the private patients. A very good experience all round.

Had the pleasure of being under Mr El-Nikety for my complex shoulder operation. This took place at the BMI Bath last October. I was referred to Mr El-Nikety at Bath Clinic in September 2017 with shoulder pain and stiffness and after examination and a follow-up MRI scan, the suspected diagnosis of subacromial impingement with mild AC joint arthritis was confirmed. Mr El-Nikety explained the various options for treatment – physiotherapy, steroid injection or surgical intervention. I decided to try the steroid injection route, which did relieve the pain almost completely, for a period of 3 weeks. After this, on Mr El-Nikety’s advice, I decided to pursue the physiotherapy route, with his assurance that an arthroscopic procedure was still an option if there was no marked improvement after a few months. My shoulder did get better to the point that I was eventually able to attend the gym and return to regular swimming sessions and other hobbies I had been forced to put on hold. During the final assessment with Mr El-Nikety , I was offered a further appointment 4 months later in case the issue flared-up again, as has happened in the past, which I found very reassuring at the time. Thankfully, I have had no further problems in this respect and was therefore discharged from the clinic.

From the initial consultation, right through to my last appointment, Mr El-Nikety took the time to listen, appreciate my concerns and always offered clear explanations and helpful advice.
